MEET: Djina Ariel
Djina Ariel was born and raised in the Bay Area, received a master’s degree in midwifery at UCSF, and became a CNM in 1996. She has been working as a nurse-midwife in Yolo and Sacramento County since 1999. She is the Davis area liaison to the CNMA HP committee and a founding member of our Capitol Chapter (CapChap).
She is the overly proud mother of two grown sons, both born at home. The focus of her work is helping women and families have
positive and empowering childbirth experiences, with additional interests in nutrition, exercise, and issues surrounding menopause/perimenopause.
Her personal passions include yoga, gardening, beekeeping, cooking, eating, travel, and politics.
