The in-person training meets the requirements under SB 1375, allowing nurse-midwives and nurse practitioners to provide first-trimester manual vacuum aspiration abortion care independently. Nurse-Midwives, PAs, and Nurse Practitioners, this workshop is for YOU!

About the event

The CNMA Two-Part Abortion Training is coming up on September 20, 2026. Join us in solidarity as we learn, network, and grow as providers! People in California NEED trained abortion providers--Please answer the call! ACNM CEs provided. This effort is supported by the Reproductive Health Service Corps.


Part 1 (Virtual Training)

Please register for part 1 separately. The virtual training covers counseling, medication abortion, telehealth abortion, and values clarification. Nurse-Midwives, PAs, Nurse Practitioners, RNs, and doulas, this workshop is for YOU!  You'll also be ready to implement what you've learned into your practice immediately with template policies and procedures, standardized procedures, competency validation documents, and patient handouts. 4 ACNM CEs provided. September 20, 2026, 8-12 PST
