Sarah Dinkler is a Certified Nurse-Midwife and Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner whose professional journey was inspired by the profound nurse-midwifery care she received during pregnancy. Her goal is to provide a safe space to partner with clients so that they receive individualized care that aligns with their values and priorities.

A long time Ventura resident, she graduated from the Nursing Program at Ventura College and worked as an RN in Labor and Delivery at Community Memorial Hospital (CMH) for 15 years. During her tenure there, she attended thousands of births, taught childbirth classes at the New Parent Resource Center, and assisted in the development of CMH’s “Kangaroo Care” skin-to-skin policies and procedures.

In late 2016, she earned her Master’s of Nursing with a concentration in Women’s Health Care from Cal State Fullerton and was board certified both a Nurse-Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. After graduation, she worked for two and a half years for Clinicas del Camino Real in both North Oxnard and Ojai, providing outpatient prenatal, gynecologic, contraceptive, and preventative health care. She serves as adjunct faculty at Cal State Channel Islands, teaching Complementary and Alternative Health and clinical rotations for the Care of Mothers, Infants, and Women.

Sarah Dinkler and her husband, Jeffrey, were married over 25 years ago and have two adult children, Zachary and Claire. In addition to spending time with family, she enjoys traveling, culinary adventures, black coffee, an occasional rye whiskey, board games, and hanging out with her dogs, Luna, a white shepherd, and Odin, a one-eyed husky.
